Firstly, due to the rural location of Cripps Barn, it is very important that you pre-book your taxi home for the end of the night. Unfortunately, it won't be possible to book a taxi on the night. We have listed some taxi companies below.

St Mary's Church, Bampton

St Mary's church is on a quiet back road in Bampton. There is parking on Church Close on the north side of the churchyard and on the Market Square. The reception

Cripps Barn

Cripps Barn is an ancient wedding barn in the beautiful Cotswold countryside.

There is no public transport to Cripps Barn but you can take the train and get a taxi to the venue or you can drive there. It takes approximately 40 mins to drive to Cripps from the church.

If you email us where you'll be travelling from, we can put you in touch with other guests to carpool or share a taxi. Please remember to PRE-BOOK YOUR TAXI for the end of the night!

BY TRAIN

If you wish to travel by train, you can travel to one the following stations and then get a taxi to the venue.

Kemble Station (Swindon – Cheltenham line) is 8.7 miles from Cripps Barn.

Charlbury Station (Paddington-Oxford-Worcester line) is 18.2 miles from Cripps Barn.

Swindon Station is 23.7 miles from Cripps Barn.

Please see below for local taxi numbers, if you need picking up from the station. We recommend that you book ahead for taxis as the taxi ranks are often not manned.

National Express run buses from London to Northleach and Cirencester

Swanbrook run a service from Oxford to Northleach and from Cheltenham to Northleach

The good news is that there is plenty of free parking on site! The bad news is that you won't be able to drink if you drive!

However, if you would prefer not to drive at the end of the evening, you are welcome to leave your car in Cripps Barn car park overnight. We ask that all cars are collected by 10 a.m. the following day.
